Watch Dogs PS4, PC June update notes

By Alan Ng - Jun 19, 2014

We have an important heads up to all Watch Dogs players. A Watch Dogs PS4 update has gone live hours ago, bringing some major new changes to the game. A Watch Dogs PC update is also expected very soon, which could improve Watch Dogs graphics on low to medium settings.

If you have been playing the game recently, you may have experienced a specific Watch Dogs 90% loading problem, which prevented players from progressing in story mode.

Ubisoft has put this down to corrupted save files and you’ll be pleased to hear that issue has now been fixed on all platforms as the first priority fix. This change should now be live on PS4, but could land on PC before the end of the week.

Another ‘major’ Watch Dog fix from Ubisoft, suggests that the developer has now found a way to limit the Watch Dogs hacks users who had somehow found a way to gain an advantage over other players. Without going into specifics on the nature of this, Ubisoft has now said that this problem has been resolved.

The full Watch Dogs June update patch notes can be read here over at the Watch Dogs forums. It relates to all platforms of the game – PS4 and PS3 should already be live. PC as we mentioned above will be available within days and Xbox One and Xbox 360 should be available next week – no reason for the delay yet.

PC owners specifically should pay attention to the notes as it could make their game look a lot better in terms of graphics on low and medium settings. If you are a PS4 user, let us know if you already have the update.
