Are you a fan of Battlefield Hardline yet? The game is in beta right now on PC and PS4, with developers Visceral Games keen to give Battlefield 4 players the chance to see how their new game differs to DICE’s.
Battlefield Hardline is not due out until October, but we have already had a great look at how the general game will play out thanks to the vast array of Battlefield Hardline gameplay that is freely available to check out at YouTube.
Usually we see beta gameplay removed at the speed in which it is uploaded, but you’ll be surprised to see that personal Hardline uploads have been untouched by EA which is nice.
As a result, we bring you one of the best gameplay clips from Hardline so far. Taken from the ongoing beta, it should give you an early impression of the game and offer up an initial conclusion on gameplay compared to Battlefield 4.
A lot has been made on the fact that we are now dealing with police vs criminals as opposed to a war setting, but we have also seen early praise for Visceral on trying a different formula for a change.
One thing that we have seen though is criticism of the graphics. While the gameplay is looking very solid indeed for a beta, many are united in saying that the graphics are not looking too good on PC.
Then again, this is a beta don’t forget so Visceral obviously has plenty of time to improve the engine before the final product is launched in October.
What have you made of Battlefield Hardline so far based on the beta? Would you take gameplay over graphics any day, or do you agree with the early concerns that graphics may not be up to scratch?
