Destiny alpha PS4 test starts

By Daniel Chubb - Jun 12, 2014

The Destiny alpha PS4 test starts today, along side the Greatness Awaits PlayStation message and can be seen on the official Destiny page for PS4. Those of you lucky enough to get in will be able to start getting hands-on with an alpha version of the game, although the beta release date is said to be coming on July 17 with another beta planned for Xbox One at a later time.

Registration is now closed for the alpha, so if you didn’t get in then you’ll need to wait for the July beta. Those of you that have access to the Destiny alpha will be able to test the game on PS4 between June 12-15, so this is for a very limited amount of time.

If you are in the PS4 Destiny alpha test, did you take time off work or from other commitments to get hands-on? We know many gamers would spend as much time playing if they had access, so if you’re in then let us know how much you’re planning on playing Destiny over the next couple of days.

In the coming hours and days we will provide Product Reviews readers will a lot of gameplay, although remember this will be from an alpha version and might feature a few problems at this stage.

I only got to play for a few hours. The game looks amazing and I had a lot of fun with it. Can’t wait to try out the beta in a few weeks.
