Mass Effect 4 new story details teased

BioWare teased fans perfectly at E3 2014 with Mass Effect 4 new story details being revealed in such a subtle way, although without getting into the finer detail.

It is clear that the Mass Effect 4 story on PS4 and Xbox One will continue from the original trilogy, but at the same time it will also remain separate with no Shepard. There will be a “reference” to the original trilogy, although exactly how this will be done is yet to be seen fully and we only know minor details like returning races.

BioWare teased fans at E3 with a welcomed Mass Effect 4 trailer that you can see below this article. While it’s clear the new game will take advantage of PS4/XB1 hardware, PC gamers are a little concerned if they’ll get the ME4 game they deserve as well.

The trailer talks about how they are going to build ME4, the size of the planet they’re going to take you to, and how new console hardware will allow developers to do much more. You’ll be teased with a vague story, setting, and prototype visuals, but without too much being given away.

How would you like the Mass Effect 4 setting to be and should it move forward a few hundred years? Some people want to see ME4 set 200 years later, others only want the reference to past games to be very subtle. Watch the E3 trailer below, then leave a comment below with your wishlist for ME4.
