The Last of Us Remastered in strange PS4 release date

By Daniel Chubb - Jun 10, 2014

We expected to see The Last of Us Remastered being promoted at E3 2014 and this would include a new trailer, PS4 release date, and much more. What we didn’t expect to see was a launch date for 2012, which is exactly what you’ll see in the featured screenshot for the official PlayStation channel on YouTube.

Jokes aside, we are to believe that July 29, 2014 is the correct release date for The Last of Us Remastered on PS4. The date would change if the developers run into problems, but considering how close we are to the games release it’s highly unlikely to change at this stage.

Take a look at The Last of Us Remastered E3 2014 trailer below this article, and then let us know if this game is on your “Must Buy” list. Sony call this game a “genre-defining experience”, and after our time with it on the last generation we’d be inclined to agree with that statement. The mix of action and survival hit our sweet spot, but it’s what they will do with new PS4 hardware that excites us thanks to being hungry for the best graphics possible with the new generation.
