The Tinder app recently received an update revealing a new look along with the Moments feature, although this download quickly followed up with version 3.0.1 to fix crashing, improved the downloading of new Moments, and also the update enabled Android Runtime. With all these fixes, it seems that a number of problems were missed like Tinder app battery drain and location issues on select devices.
Around 4 months ago we first started getting reports from users complaining about the Tinder app not working on Android devices mainly. The list of issues ranged from SMS verification, not being able to log in to Facebook, and a number of other errors with some getting fixed in version 3.0.
Tinder app battery drain complaints – just yesterday, with the new update, we receive an email and noticed a number of users complaining about the Tinder app killing battery life. One Product Reviews reader said, “after I installed the new update it’s sucking all my battery. The standby battery life is a joke and this needs fixing ASAP, for now I had to uninstall thanks to around 10 percent battery drain an hour”.
Another user commented on the official review section saying, “The new update eats my Android battery. In just 6 hours I’ve seen 70% of the battery drain, and this is without even using my phone”.
Do you find the Tinder app draining your Android battery life, or do you also have a location problem? We’ve also heard from users being really happy with their experience of Tinder so far, and one user explained that “after the ART fix in the 3.0.1 update it looks like things are running smoothly”.
