COD: Advanced Warfare PS4 Midnight launch price, or pre-load

By Updated on

There’s no doubt Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on PS4 will be very popular, but how you purchase the game with changing trends would be the real question? You can order online and wait for the game disc to arrive, pre-load the digital download on PS4, or head to a COD Advanced Warfare midnight launch with a cheaper price in many cases.

The benefit of setting a pre-load via Sony’s PlayStation Network Store is a no-brainer, but it comes at a price for COD Advanced Warfare and many other new games. You will pay more for this service that saves you time, effort, and maybe even money spent on getting to the retail location to pickup a midnight release.

You can see a screenshot above of the pre-order page from Sony Entertainment Network, although we can’t seem to find Advanced Warfare to pre-order in the UK just yet, only the USA PSN store. The current COD Advanced Warfare pre-order price is set at $59.99 and while we can’t see the UK pre-load price just yet, expect it to be around £54.99.

We looked at the Watch Dogs digital price compared to Asda, Tesco, and GAME UK. This revealed a big difference, but maybe one gamers would be glad to pay to get a download for COD Advanced Warfare at midnight without having to go anywhere.

Will you go to a midnight release still, or opt for the digital pre-load? In the UK, you can expect to pay around £44 for Advanced Warfare on PS4 and Xbox One. This will compare to around £55 for a digital pre-load on the newer consoles.
