GTA V Heists to release online within 2 weeks

By Updated on

We are now getting down to crunch time with regards to the GTA V Heists release date. Rockstar has promised that the content will arrive in Spring, meaning that we now have just two weeks to go until the end of spring and the end of Rockstar’s own deadline.

The most likely scenario to happen next, would be for Rockstar to release GTA Online Heists next week, which will arrive with the GTA V 1.14 update – the next major patch for the game.

Rockstar has not provided any updates on the the Rockstar Newswire website, but we have a feeling that the days are counting down now and Rockstar will have to give out information to GTA V players soon.

When Heists does finally arrive, it will also be interesting to see if Rockstar then devotes their full attention to GTA V story DLC which still hasn’t arrived 10 months after release – quite surprising if you think about it.

Don’t forget that Heists itself was a mode that was originally promised ‘shortly after launch’, but then Rockstar had to weather the storm with the barrage of GTA V hacks, glitches and cheaters that still continue to plague online mode.

Players are already doing their own GTA V Heists countdown too. We have spotted one video below from a popular GTA V channel which offers three potential, but speculated GTA V Heists release dates.

The first is Tuesday June 10 which is the week of E3, the next date is June 17 or the final date is June 20 as mentioned above which is the last day of Spring officially.

Since Rockstar usually release their new GTA V patches on a Tuesday, it is highly likely at this point that we will see Heists release on one of those three dates mentioned above.

Are you looking forward to Heists finally coming to GTA V? Let us know how you are feeling right now after such a long wait and if you think the massive delay will be well worth the wait.
