The likelihood of seeing a Red Dead 3 release date within the next year has just taken a massive boost, which will make PS4 and Xbox One owners really happy. We know a number of our PlayStation readers particularly loved this franchise and wanted to see a Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2015.
Red Dead Revolver was picked up by Rockstar and expanded a number of years ago now, then the massive open world Redemption game followed with even more fun and for those that love zombies we saw an Undead Nightmare expansion. The chances of seeing RDR2 seem to be most likely considering the massive sales, although others feel a new name would be ideal for Red Dead 3.
Would you prefer to see Red Dead Redemption 2, or Red Dead 3 with a new name and setting? There’s plenty of PC owners that just want a port of Redemption and a few million fans would gladly take a PS4 and Xbox One version of Red Dead Redemption 2. We recently spotted the PC port on Microsoft’s very own store, although this has since been removed only proving its credibility.
The Red Dead Revolution image below is fan art going back a couple of years and the name game has been played for a long time now. Following recent comments by those at Take-Two, it seems that we won’t have to wait much longer for at least a name of the next Red Dead game.
Expecting Red Dead 3 in 2015 – if you follow Take-Two news, then you would have recently heard about their confirmation of a new Rockstar game due before March 2015. A lot of people want to see a GTA V port or different version of this franchise, but that’s unlikely although Red Dead 3 as this game seems much more likely after a comment made by Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
When Zelnick spoke about the company’s strategy, he named Red Dead as “a permanent franchise” among a few others like GTA. This alone reveals that there will be another game, which will feature a new name or just simply be “Red Dead Redemption 2”. Read Zelnick’s comments in more detail on Gamespot.
Personally, we’ll be happy to see any new Red Dead game given a release date in 2015 on PS4 or Xbox One. Share a comment below with what you’d like to see within the next game and of course what theme/location you’d like it to feature.
