FIFA 14 World Cup update release time setback

By Daniel Chubb - May 29, 2014

The gaming community would be looking to download the FIFA 14 World Cup update today and find its release time for Xbox One, PS4, along with other PSN/Xbox Live consoles. Sadly, when you look for this information you will learn that this DLC has been delayed with no ETA being mentioned.

We took a quick look on the official UK EA forum and found a message from the community manager explaining why the FIFA 14 World Cup update has been delayed for all platforms. In a nutshell, the setback is due to offering the “best possible experience” and the release will now be pushed back with more information expected to arrive in the “coming days”.

Product Reviews readers should note this includes both the FIFA 14 World Cup Ultimate Team DLC and update bringing a new Kick-Off mode to PS4 and Xbox One consoles. We have included a screenshot of the mentioned forum post below.

Below is a tweet from the same Community Manager, Rob Hodson, for EA SPORTS FIFA Series. He simply mentions that the FUT World Cup and Kick-off update is delayed.

Another tweet was published by Hodson after the initial announcement, which explains further updates will come within the forum post and there’s “nothing further” on the FIFA 14 World Cup update release date at this time.
