Beats Music iOS update reevaluates pricing and availability

Beats and Apple have wasted no time in celebrating their future together, as the latest Beats Music iOS app will give new subscribers something to be excited about. Beats Music version 2.1 is not about new features, but rather pricing, availability and bug fixes.

So what’s the big deal with this latest version of Beat Music? If you are a first time user, then you will be able to test drive this app and its services free for 14 days; this was recently just 7 days. That’s not all, as the previous price was $119.88 per year; this has now been reduced to $99.99 per year.

This means the monthly fee goes from $9.99 to $8.30 per month, which is a pretty good saving, and one that is sure to get interest. However, it is not all about the new pricing and doubling on the free trial period, as the previous version had a few bugs that needed some attention.

Beats Music iOS update

Beats Music version 2.1 features several bug fixes to guarantee that the app runs as smooth as possible. More details on this app can be found on iTunes.

The app runs fine on all iOS devices running at least iOS 6 and above, but it has been optimized for the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C. If you live in the UK or any other country outside the US, then you are out of luck, as this app is not available there. We are not sure if this service will extend to other countries, and while you may think Apple will try and push for increased coverage you only have to look at iTunes Radio to see that things never go to plan.
