Lemmings Touch PS Vita launch gameplay

- May 28, 2014

PC gamers will know Lemmings extremely well and we’ve spent many hours playing the PC version a long time ago, although today you can pick up a copy of Lemmings Touch for PS Vita. In celebration of its handheld release date, Sony has offered up a launch trailer with some gameplay quickly showing you how “Touch” controls work.

The launch video can be seen below this article and will help you get to grips with the new style of play. You’ll be able to use the PS Vita touchscreen to guide Lemmings on their journey, which will span over 100 levels designed to get you closer to the action.

We’ve had a quick play and notice the hazards are similar to what you might have experienced on previous versions of the game, although the touch system takes a few minutes to adjust to. It won’t take you long to get back into the swing of things, and this is certainly a game for the younger generation that might not have enjoyed Lemmings on other platforms.

Do you have good memories of Lemmings, and will you be picking up a copy of Lemmings Touch for PS Vita? Within Lemmings Touch for PS Vita, you’ll be able to give these little guys/girls jobs to do like climbing, blocking, building, bashing, and digging. Giving these tasks will help you get past each level with as many Lemmings saved as possible. Watch the launch trailer below and share a comment.
