There seems to be a constant will it or wont it when it comes to the Apple iWatch release date, as most rumors point to it being released alongside the iPhone 6 in September, whereas others believe it will not be this year. The reason why it might not be this year is because Apple assembled the team working on their smartwatch not that long ago, although we might not have the full picture.
Maybe this is the reason why several analysts believe that the iWatch will be released this year, with the latest research suggesting that Apple iWatch production is set to start in the summer, around July or August. If this is true, then a September release does look highly likely.
Apple iWatch design confusion – When the very first Apple smartwatch rumors started we assumed that they would go with a rectangular design to help match other iOS devices, but a Business Insider report believes that Apple could go for a round watch face instead.
Some of you may think this is a silly move, but based on the Moto 360 smartwatch getting a better reaction than the LG G Watch, we would say that Apple should go with a round design. It is far better to make the watch look more traditional rather than something that looks odd on the wrist.
Look at it like this, how many people do you see wearing a rectangle watch compared to those who wear one with a round face? The latter is considered more practical in terms of design, and Apple surely knows this already, especially as they have hired people highly regarded in the fashion industry.
