Volvo XC90 2015 interior highlights in-car control system

The 2015 Volvo XC90 will get its debut at the Paris Motor Show in August, but the Swedish car maker thought they would tease us three months before the event and offer an insight into the 2015 Volvo XC90 interior, which we have to say looks a very different place to other Volvo models.

Most striking Volvo XC90 2015 interior feature – would have to be its in-car control system, as the buttons have gone to make way for touchscreen, which does seem all the rage at the moment, although this looks to be the future of car interiors.

Most of the cars functions that were once controlled with buttons have now been replaced with touchscreen, and while it makes the console a bit sparse in the images, it isn’t once the system is booted up and you are met with an array of options at your fingertips.

Many of the features of the 2015 Volvo XC90 main console are duplicated on the digital instrument cluster, which helps to keep your eyes on the road, as it is just a quick flick of your eyes rather than moving your head in order to see whatever readout it is you are looking at.

Keeping with safety, many of the functions of the new touchscreen center console can be done with voice control, and we hope to see this demonstrated during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, as it will be good to see how precise it is with many different accents.

There is far more to the interior of the next-gen Volvo XC90, as you will see by the images from Volvo, and the video below, as it is also a luxurious place to be with its sea of leather and three rows of seats.
