The price for the 2015 Hyundai Sonata has now been made official in the US, and it is pretty much what we were expecting, which means the 2015 Hyundai Sonata price in India will be pretty close to estimates as well. The base price for one of these is $21,150, which does not include destination charge, add another $810 for that. With these figures in mind, this would mean a hike of $300 over last year’s model.
We expect the 2015 Hyundai Sonata price in India will be imminent and based on the 2013 model, which was Rs. 18.8 lakh, we don’t expect it to be too far off that. Having said that, we are not certain what sort of markup dealers will imply, and so we will just have to wait and see.
However, looking at how this price converts, we can already see that the Indian market has to pay more than the US, although this is something we have come to expect over the years, and while it is unfair, it is just the way of life. However, we have to wonder how long this will stay like that if growth in India continues because it could become an even bigger car buyer than the US in years to come.
A full breakdown of the Hyundai Sonata 2015 US pricing can be found here, but we will say how we admire Hyundai. This is because the 2015 Sonata changes are sophisticated, even though some of you would question its new design.
If you are one of those who question the new styling, we would like to remind you how Hyundai have come a long way over the past 5 years, as back then their cars were consider bland, now they are giving the Japanese and even the German’s a run for their money.
