Having already given details of the WWDC 2014 Keynote time, we thought you might be interested to learn that Apple has updated its WWDC app for the iPhone and iPad. This app will allow you to get the most from the Worldwide Developers Conference by following the news each day, although it is always the main keynote that is of most interest.
WWDC Version 2.0 has a revamped user interface very similar to that of iOS 7, meaning it will feel like a seamless app for your iPhone and iPad. Once installed you will see that the icon has changed from dark purple to bright orange, which goes with the theme of iOS 7.
During the WWDC 2014 dates you can use this app to stream videos from the event, mark scheduled events of interest, keep up-to-date with the latest news, view maps of WWDC, and also offer feedback to what you have seen at the event.
What this app will not tell you are WWDC 2014 rumors or predictions, although we do have a few of our own, such as a larger focus on OS X 10.10 rather than iOS 8.
One other thing, do not expect to see a new MacBook Air or Pro as we have done in previous years, although there is a strong possibility that some sort of other hardware will make an appearance.
