With Watch Dogs set to launch in a week’s time, we can see that unsurprisingly there has been many users who have been able to get early copies. As a result, the Watch Dogs world map has already gone live and users have started to make comparisons with the GTA V map.
Although Ubisoft has been keen to state that their game will be unique compared to GTA V, it isn’t going to stop the gaming community from making their own differences with each game given the high profile of both and the massive open-world nature of both games.
Everybody was upset about the initial Watch Dogs delay, but now it seems that Ubisoft may have a game on their hands that gamers will enjoy more than GTA V. Earlier this week we told you that PS4 gameplay had slipped out ahead of schedule but now it seems that the hot topic is on the Watch Dogs map.
We are not going to host the images here in case Ubisoft are not happy, but you can check them out here if you are interested. Aside from appearing to show the full map of Chicago, there are also additional images showing Aiden’s skill tree – although in Portuguese.
On first impressions, it looks like the GTA V map will be bigger, although it is hard to tell with such a grainy image of Watch Dogs. At least it gives you an idea of what to expect though and hopefully Ubisoft will be kind enough to offer official images of the full Watch Dogs map to give gamers a better idea.
Refresh your memory with the full GTA V interactive map here and let us your initial thoughts on how the Watch Dogs map compares. Are you excited to finally be able to play Ubisoft’s game in just 7 days time?
