Walking Dead PS4, Xbox One release date locked down

It looks like the PS4 and Xbox One ports are coming thick and fast this year as developers and publishers look to cash in. Save some extra money after The Last of Us Remastered for PS4, as it looks like The Walking Dead GOTY for PS4 and Xbox One is on the way too.

It shouldn’t really be seen as a surprise though. The Walking Dead game has appeared on every platform other than next-gen, so it was perhaps only a matter of time. Now, you’ll soon be able to play Walking Dead Season 1 on PS4 and Xbox One thanks to some early information from retailers.

The Game of The Year Edition has appeared online on several retail listings and it looks like it will follow traditional patterns of other GOTY titles. By this we mean coming with all included DLC such as the 400 Days content and also a soundtrack thrown in for good measure.

Unfortunately, since this is still unofficial, we don’t have any specifics on the type of upgrade the game is getting. This is of course in relation, to whether the game is just a direct port of the PS3 and Xbox 360 version, or if the graphics have been fully enhanced to take advantage of next-gen hardware.

At the moment, Amazon UK has the game listed for £29.99. Let us know if you are willing to consider the game for this price. It looks like Walking Dead Game of the Year will be launched on July 25, but obviously E3 2014 will hold more answers.
