Box enterprise customers were treated to a new set of tools, one of which allowed for faster ways in which to display documents, and it would seem as though the company wants more people to enjoy these new features, and so have brought them to the app.
Box for Android was updated today to v3.0 and with it brings several new features, as well as a complete redesign to its user interface. One thing we can tell you, this version looks and performs very differently to the previous version.
Box for Android v3.0 features – The new additions to this app are minor bug fixes that were an issue with version 2.4.4, several improvements to its UI, as well as its navigation and image browsing. Non-enterprise accounts now get a new test release channel, and you can now manage your accounts via Android settings.
These changes can be seen in the new Box for Android v3.0 video. It only runs for less than 1 minute, but Box now makes it much easier to manage and work your files and documents no matter where you are, as long as you have access to the Internet.
This latest version of the Box app is faster, more secure and even easier to use, which is on top of the already vast features. Visting the Google Play Store we can see that the new Box for Android version 3 has a mixed opinion, which you can see for yourself by visiting the Store.
