Tomorrow is a very special day for two reasons, the first is because you will be able to pre-order the new Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft, and the second is because Bounden for iOS will be made available for download. However, the Android version has had to be delayed, although not for the reason you might think.
The Bounden Android release is very logical because there are inconsistencies with Android devices, which you can see for yourself in the link below. It would seem that some devices are unable to locate where north is, which is a bit of an issue for the game, as it relies on a person’s position.
In some cases a reason for an app to be delayed on Android is because Apple has paid money in order to delay its release on another platform. We do find it funny that Android users run Apple down for doing such a thing, yet they will be more than happy to play a Call of Duty game on their Xbox knowing full well Microsoft has paid the developer/publisher to get exclusive content for a certain period.
We can’t tell you too much about Bounden, as there is not much to tell, although a video highlighting its main purpose can be seen below. However, we can tell you that this is a two-player motion controlled game where you are urged to dance with each other.
Think of Bounden as an app that mixes ballet and twister, where you both have to hold the phone and then dance. The iPhone will use its fully working gyroscope sensor to help match shapes on a screen as you dance along.
Like we said, Bounden iOS release will be tomorrow, May 21st. As for the Android release, the developer has given no timescale, but will not rush the release until it is stable on all Android devices. And, for that reason you are asked to help them resolve the problem quicker, which you can do so here.
