As the world prepares for Apple to unleash a new iPad for 2014, we could have a preview of the model in question if one of the latest iPad Pro 12.9-inch leaks from China are to be taken seriously.
At this point, it would almost seem a surprise if we didn’t see Apple introduce a larger version their iPad to join the traditional 9.7-inch model and the iPad Mini range.
This week, we have some further clues for you to digest, with an image that has appeared all over Chinese social media boards. Weibo is the latest perpetrator and appears to show a 12.9-inch iPad Pro that features a full aluminium body.
Metallic definitely is the key flavor here as the design looks distinctly different from the standard iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina that are available on the market now.
Of course, there is always the chance that this could be a hoax, but we wouldn’t mind it at all if this ended up to be the real design – it’s about time Apple adopted a full aluminium approach and tried something bold.
With WWDC 2014 approaching soon, rest assured that this won’t be the last 13-inch iPad leak that we see. Take a look at the design for yourself and let us know if you would support the aluminium feature this year.
