The new Xbox One update is live for May and brings with it a number of new features. News of the upgrade rolling out across the globe came thanks to a tweet from Major Nelson, which only arrived in the last 30 minutes although some of Product Reviews readers might have been expecting the new Xbox One update to be live today.

You should also be aware that you can check to see if the new Xbox One update is ready by looking under Settings for “System update”. While you can check there if you want to, it’s worth noting you don’t have to check for updates thanks to everyone getting the new software automatically within the next couple of days.
The reason some of you might want to check the button we mentioned above, is to make sure you have the new May update or not.
