GAAD 2014 with Infinity Ward gaming photo

- May 16, 2014

Global Accessibility Awareness Day, aka GAAD, 2014 took place on May 15 this year and we saw a number of companies take part in making people aware of improving access to digital content when you have different disabilities. In a nutshell, this means improving access to the web, apps, software, games, and more digital content for people with a disability.

Within the last couple of hours we saw Infinity Ward release a gaming photo to explain what they have been doing for GAAD 2014, and this picture seen above reveals a setting you can change to enable a Colorblind filter. Infinity Ward also highlight other ways they’re helping make accessing digital content easier and that’s seen in one such tweet below that hit the official IW channel 5 hours ago.

Have you seen any amazing stories yesterday, which reveal how some companies do much more to help those with disabilities? It is true that we shouldn’t wait just for GAAD to improve access, and some companies plan all year round when it comes to making changes for better accessibility. If you have a story, then we’d love to hear it.
