One game which we haven’t talked about but is causing all kinds of excitement is Project CARS for PS4, PC and Xbox One. The Project Cars release date isn’t until November, but we already have an amazing Project CARS PS4 Vs PC graphics comparison preview to enjoy already.
Gamers are excited about the upcoming Driveclub on PS4 after its initial delay, but if you love racing games you definitely want to keep an eye on Project CARS too. Developed by Slightly Mad Studios and funded by the community instead of a publisher, the graphics have been on show recently and we think you are going to be impressed.
Project CARS stands for Community Assisted Racing Simulator, so it will be interesting to see how the final product looks and compares to the likes of Gran Turismo, Forza and Drive Club which comparisons will obviously be made once the game is nearing a release.
Right now though, it’s all about the graphics. We have some comparison screenshots for you to enjoy showing both the PC version with Ultra settings and how the Ultra quality compares to the PS4 version of the game.
The conclusion to this comparison has suggested that the PS4 version of the game is going to be comparable to the PC version on High settings. You can see evidence of this in the animation above, but viewing the full collection courtesy of Dualshockers will give you a better idea.
Most PS4 owners will be satisfied if their version of the game can look as good as PC on High settings. Obviously nobody is expecting PC Ultra and PS4 to match up as that won’t happen, but comparable High settings still looks great on PS4.
We don’t have evidence of how the Xbox One is looking at the moment, but we hope to get that soon. Enjoy the graphics preview here though and let us know your impressions of Project CARS so far.
