Apple buy Beats music, then what should happen other than Dr. Dre in a studio celebration video with Tyrese Gibson. The claim of the first billionaire in hip hop is mentioned, and a few beers are shared to celebrate the deal before it was officially confirmed.
Take a look at the Dr. Dre studio celebration video below this article, but be warned some cursing is included and for good reason considering this is an early party for a massive deal. The Beats by Dr. Dre value was rumored to be one billion dollars in 2013, so seeing the company sold in 2014 for three times that figures is surprising to some people.
The other shock and confusion is to do with what Apple might be planning with the buyout, and we touched on the idea of an iPad Air 2 with Beats audio earlier today. Take a look at that article here, or share a comment below with what you think Apple will do with the technology and how they might combine it with their iPhones, iPads, and iPods? You have to wonder if this will change the specs on an iPhone 6, 6th generation iPad, the next iPod touch, or it could be at least a year away from being introduced on any Apple products.
Who do you think will benefit more from this deal, Apple or Dr. Dre? Personally, we think the answer could depend on what Apple do with the technology going forward.
