The current Toyota Tacoma is an honest, popular vehicle, but there are still areas in which the truck needs to be improved on. Thankfully, the 2015 model aims to do just that, although we have to wonder if Toyota will be able to meet customer expectations?
A lot is riding on the Toyota Tacoma 2015 redesign and if these photos are anything to go by, then the Japanese car maker could be onto a winner once again. The current 2011-2014 design was already well-designed and as such had a great resale value, but these owners have made it very clear what they want from the next-gen Tacoma.
Their list of demands is not over the top as it would seem many of them would be simple for Toyota to include in the 2015 model. A greater engine choice is high on the list, but so is a locking tailgate, and electric power windows all round. So have these made it to the next model, well the photos we have here will not be able to show that, but the video 2015 Toyota Tacoma first drive video will.
You will see in the video that this is an early review of the 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Off-Road model in the desert of Las Vegas. It makes sense to test the truck here because it is designed for the desert and roads that are off the beaten track.
We get to learn everything about what makes the new Tacoma so good, although we are a little concerned that it does not come with the aluminum skid plates, unless this was only missing from the test vehicle and will make its way to the production models?
Take a bit of time to study the photos we have for you, and then check out the 2015 Toyota Tacoma review video and let us know what you think of the redesign.
