We have some good news for those of you who are patiently waiting for the Sims 4 PC release date to arrive. The last time we spoke about the game, we told you about a Sims 4 release delay which had now been pushed into Fall 2014.
This week, EA has just finished up on their most recent earnings call and we now khow some updated details on The Sim 4 status to share. Considering that the game was initially due to land this Spring, most of you are now expecting the next major details to come at E3 2014.
Now it looks like the Fall 2014 deadline has been pinpointed to the end of September. EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson has gone on record to say that the Sims 4 will be an Autumn release and will have a fiscal Q2 release.
To simplify that for you, the first week of Autumn is September 23 while EA’s Q2 schedule should end on September 30. With this in mind, it is logical to assume that the Sims 4 will come within this bracket and the week starting on Monday September 23 should be a good bet on when the game will be out.
Remember that E3 2014 is approaching though, so we wouldn’t be surprised if we finally see a confirmed release date along with some gameplay.
Let us know how you are dealing with the wait for The Sims 4. Is it still one of your most anticipated games of the year?
