The Monument Valley game launched on iOS just over a month ago and has dedicated iPad and iPhone versions, although an Android release date is yet to be confirmed with just the Coming Soon statement being give by ustwo at this time. The game is simple to use and involves guiding a princess in a virtual world, but it is this stunning world that most people comment on with its difficult architecture and unique monuments inspired by real world temples.
You can watch the Monument Valley game release trailer below this article that gives you a really good look at how beautiful the world is, and of course the theme of this game that would suit exploring types well. You can download the app on iTunes for just under $4, so the price alone will be one reason a few iOS users will skip this one but we’d recommend you watch the video below before forgetting about this surreal game.
We found the game after Kevin Rose tweeted about it, as seen below, and he called Monument Valley “one of the best games” he’s played on an iPhone. Feel free to tweet him a message below, or join in the Twitter conversation.

Monument Valley Android release date soon – we have heard from an Android user using a beta version, and they claim the game is “pure awesome” on that platform as well. So, while it is listed as “Coming soon to Android”, the launch cannot be too far away.
Personally, we played for about 30 minutes and found the design brilliant. Every time you reach a new screen it’s like playing with a work of art.
