For those who said that Google would not be able to make a go of it with its Chromebook partnership, then how wrong were they. We know it still has a way to go to reach the heights of some of the other platforms, but then its success is limited by bandwidth speed while out and about.
However, the likes of Lenovo think there is still a lot to come from the platform and so have two new Chromebooks, the N20 and N20p. Both are 11.6 inches and are pretty much the same in terms of specs.
Lenovo Chromebook N20 and N20p differences – Seeing as though the two have the same specs and screen size, you might wonder how the two differ, and so we will tell you that the N20 is a standard clamshell, non-touch display, whereas the N20p sports a touchscreen display that is similar in design to that of the Yoga, although it can only fold back 300 degrees rather than 360 degrees.
It is for this reason why we would say don’t go getting yourself a new Lenovo Chromebook N20p expecting it to replace your tablet, but it won’t, seeing as though it will not fold flat.
Lenovo’s new Chromebooks specs – The N20 and N20p both sport a quad-core Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of storage, two USB ports, and an eight-hour battery life.
The Lenovo Chromebook N20 will be released in the US first in June and its price is expected to be $250 – $279, as you can opt for different amounts of RAM.
As for the Lenovo Chromebook N20p will be released in late June or early July and will cost $299 and $329, again, depending on how much RAM you want. To help you choose between the two we have embedded a hands-on video for your viewing pleasure.
There you have it, two new Chromebooks to add to that ever-growing list.
