If you saw a friend receive a PlayStation Now beta invite back in February and you sadly missed out, then it is time to check your inbox once again thanks to a select few being offered a chance to sign up for the PlayStation Now beta once again. The invites are being sent out privately at this time, so it won’t be easy to get in and the lucky few will be very happy if they receive that email.
We did hear from a number of Product Reviews readers about their disappointment over not getting a PS Now beta code, but these very people should check their inbox today to see if there’s an invite. The report of more private beta invites being sent came from Polygon this weekend, and they revealed evidence thanks to a screenshot showing certain games available in the PlayStation Now beta right now. These include BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Puppeteer, Catherine, and Contrast.
Did you get a PlayStation Now private beta invite and if so, what game will you play first after the sign up?
While there isn’t an exact release date for PlayStation Now in the USA, we do hear that it should launch to public around fall 2014. We should see the service extended to a number of devices in time, which will include the PS Vita, PS3, and select Sony Smart TVs. There’s even a chance that some dedicated hardware will release later on thanks to the service being based on Gaikai technology.
