If you are feeling the pain of the Flappy Bird removal, we are here to remind you that there are other games from the Flappy Bird team to keep you busy. One of these is the Shuriken Block app for iPhone and iPad, but unfortunately those of you looking to play Shuriken Block on Android will have to wait.
For some unfortunate reason, Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen has decided to bring Shuriken Block out on iOS only for the time being. The gameplay of Shuriken Block is very addictive just like Flappy Bird, with many fans actually saying that they prefer it over Flappy Bird.
Shuriken Block was released on iOS last year, but recently was updated in February 2014 with bug fixes a brand new UI and much smoother gameplay. Many Android users had expected to see a Shuriken Block Android release date towards the end of 2013 but sadly it didn’t happen.
We can still see that there is huge demand for the game though with fans still asking Dong Nguyen if the game is coming out. Fortunately, it looks like the project is still alive as we can show you the following update from Dong himself.
@Mouneis I am focus on my new games. It will come to Android eventually.

It looks like Mr Nguyen is looking for the next Flappy Bird success, but still aims to deliver a Shuriken Block Android release in the near future.
Obviously it’s not the release date that most of you want to hear but it is definitely better than nothing upon seeing that Android users have been waiting a year for the game to come out.
Some of you may have already found Shuriken Block Android hacks elsewhere, but let us know if you would still like to play this game via the Play Store. Do you think it is unfair that iOS users get the game and you don’t?
