Nexus 7 Android 4.4.3 update imminent

If you are a Nexus 7 owner, you could be set for more update joy soon. The Nexus 7 Android 4.4.3 update release is approaching and reports are now mounting that it could be coming sooner rather than later.

Initially, we have heard whispers that Android 4.4.3 Kitkat would be coming to the Nexus 5 first. However, now we have heard that Google will also be rolling out the new update for the rest of the Nexus devices such as the Nexus 7, and also the Google Play Edition devices as well.

Unfortunately, the main piece of information that everyone is after has yet to materialize, that being an exact date or week on when Google will launch the Android 4.4.3 release date.

We do however offer a Tweet that has been provided by a respected HTC insider, who has gone on record to say that Android 4.4.3 will be identified as build KTU84F and that it will be coming to the likes of the Nexus 7 soon.

Either way, when the Android 4.4.3 update is ready for rollout, the Nexus 7 will obviously be one of the first devices in line to receive the update – as always.

If you are looking forward to the next software update on your tablet, let us know what features you are hoping to see from Google. Are you happy to keep your Nexus 7 for as long as official support continues, or are you already thinking of an upgrade to the rumored Nexus 8?

I’m hoping app ops will make a return. If it doesn’t, I’m staying on 4.4.1
