Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Kitkat update live

We finally have some good news for those of you with a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. It has been a long time waiting, but that wait is over – the official Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Android 4.4 Kitkat update is now live.

If you have resisted temptation to download a custom Kitkat update for your favorite tablet, that wait is going to be rewarded over the next week. Samsung are now performing the rollout for the official Android 4.4 Kitkat update, but it may take a while to actually reach your tablet.

Like most typical rollouts, the update will go live in different regions at different times. Samsung never provide global updates to everyone at once, but that doesn’t stop consumers from attempting to force updates manually via device settings.

You can now try this method yourself and see if you can push the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet Kitkat update manually at home. For those that have the update already, you will be able to enjoy Android 4.4.2 on the device with new features such as white status bar icons, lockscreen camera access, fullscreen album art, wireless printing support and much more.

There’s also general stability support that comes with every major release of Android, so this is a massive update and well worth the wait.

Let us know if you have received a notification to update to Android 4.4.2 on the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition in your area, or if you are still waiting and have received nothing just yet.
