While most of you will be enjoying the epic new Naval Strike maps in Battlefield 4, we have noticed that there does appear to be a new Battlefield 4 bug that has been found, threatening to ruin your experience.
We all know that Battlefield 4 can provide immense fun and a gameplay session that can’t be replicated anywhere else. However it’s also a game that is prone to bugs, with developers DICE constantly racing around the clock to improve gameplay with each Battlefield 4 patch after many players report bugs and glitches.
This week we have one to show you, which will explain why some of your RPG shots on tanks and helicopters appear to be completely useless against the enemy. This new bug has been nicknamed the Battlefield Death Shield – it involves a dead body which acts as a bullet proof shield from all projectiles and incoming fire.
This invincible period lasts from the moment you kill the enemy and the time in which you have to revive the dead body with a defibrillator. This exact bug is best described by watching the video below courtesy of BF4 gamer Jackfrags.

Fortunately, this problem has already been acknowledged by DICE and a Tweet above confirms that the team will be looking into it. As a result, we would be very surprised if this Battlefield 4 Death Shield isn’t fixed up by the time the next title update arrives.
For the moment though, players can use a dead body to avoid attacks completely for a limited amount of time. As far as we’re aware, this is happening on all versions of the game. Hopefully we’ll give you the good news about a fix soon so we can enjoy the game as normal.
