The Last of Us PS4 upgrade from PS3 desired

Have you gotten over the excitement regarding The Last of Us Remastered on PS4 yet? Everybody deep down knew it could be coming later this year and now Naughty Dog has finally revealed their big secret.

However, attention has now shifted to what will happen for the millions of gamers that already bought The Last of Us on PS3. As you can imagine, the news on a PS4 release is fantastic, but those that already spent $60 on a PS3 copy may not want to pay full price again.

Gamers are asking for a The Last of Us PS4 upgrade incentive, just like similar instances which we have seen from other PS3 to PS4 games – Assassin’s Creed 4, COD Ghosts, Battlefield 4 to name a few.

Naughty Dog nor Sony has announced any The Last Of Us PS4 discount program of any kind, but we imagine that they will be doing so soon. The PS4 version is going to come with upgraded graphics to 1080p, but even then some gamers may not feel that it is worth paying full price.

Having said that, those who couldn’t play the PS3 version for whatever reason are surely in dream land right now. Specifically those Xbox 360 players who bought a PS4 instead of Xbox One and can’t wait to have the chance to play the game on PS4.

You may want to pay close attention to your local retailers, as they may be holding individual offers for the Last of Us on PS4. These could involve trade-ins, but we have a feeling that there will be some offer available in the coming weeks.

Let us know if you want to play The Last of Us on PS4, but will only buy the game if you see an upgrade offer as you have already played the PS3 version. Have you spotted any deals in your local retail yet – UK or US?

how would they make an upgrade program? by emailing your receipt? Other games with upgrade programs had codes in the box.
