Baseball fans can finally get a new taste of MLB baseball gaming this week, with the glorious launch of RBI Baseball 14 on iPhone, iPad, Xbox 360 and PS3. Unfortunately though and not for the first time, those looking for the RBI Baseball 14 Android release date are going to be kept waiting.

Another high profile app has launched and once again it hasn’t launched on Android at the same time as iOS. RBI Baseball is looking like a wonderful return to playing MLB Baseball games, but if you are looking specifically for the mobile version on Android you’ll have to hang on further.

We can confirm that the Android version of RBI Baseball 14 won’t be available until sometime in Spring. At the moment, the game is available for iPhone and iPad and it will cost you $4.99 to download.

For this price you get access to 30 Major League Baseball teams, as well as the boast of featuring 480 current MLB players. Gameplay is simple, but fun with RBI offering an arcade style experience with a 9-inning game that can be played in under 20 minutes – using two buttons to keep things less-complicated.

The perfect fix for baseball game fans

We’re guessing that the $4.99 price will also apply to the Android version, but we’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully we’ll get a confirmed release date on Android for you soon – in the meantime though give us your reaction to the Android delay.

Are you tempted to buy an iPhone or iPad, just so you don’t have to keep putting up with the Android second best treatment?
