Most Samsung Galaxy Note 4 concept designs we have seen come with a list of specs to detail exactly what the designer wants to see, although the design proposed in the image below lacks the finer hardware details. What we do know is that this concept claims to be a 100 percent unique image and apparently showcases the best picture of what the upcoming phablet could be designed like.
We found this design on Galaxy Note 4 Me with little information. The description explains the possible smartphone as a cleaner design, unique UI, enhanced camera, and faster browsing, although you can clearly see the tiny bezel around its display.
Galaxy Note 4 concept joins iPhone 6 bezel rumors – the current trend of iPhone 6 rumors, in fact since the moment we saw iPhone 5S / 5C release, is a much thinner bezel and some people feel that this is wasted space that could be used to create a bigger phablet type iPhone 6 that keeps a reasonably small form factor.
We have seen a number of iPhone 6 designs with a bezel free display in the past, like the picture above, and in some cases the designer even wants the fingerprint scanner hidden within a small black strip below the display. This sort of design certainly looks slick and you gain a bigger display without increasing the overall form factor too much.
Would you like to see a much smaller bezel on either the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or Apple iPhone 6? If so, what concerns do you have for potential damage with a smaller bezel?
It is clear from new Galaxy Note 4 display rumors in 2014 that the display is the focus of innovation and being able to offer a smaller bezel that still protects the screen from breaking is key, but what about innovating with displays on another level? This has been seen on a number of occasions in the past, especially with flexible displays and those with more than one side as explained within an article from February.
One of the latest Galaxy S6 concepts also looked like a oversized iPhone to some Apple fans, although certain Android users feel it looked more like a bigger Galaxy phone as intended.
Leave a comment below with your thoughts for the future design of both an iPhone 6 or Galaxy Note 4, especially in regard to new smartphones going for very small bezels and the latest Galaxy Note 4 proposal above. There will be benefits to such a change, but also problems could arise as well.
