Battlefield 4 glitch unplayable after SUAV

By Updated on

We have a word of warning for those who are playing Battlefield 4. As good as the game is and as much fun as it is at the moment there are still some bugs threatening to spoil the adventure. We’ve spotted one ourselves, a particularly nasty one too which renders your character an unmovable object after going prone.

We do know that DICE are always looking to fix bugs in their frequent Battlefield 4 update rollouts, so we will be hoping that they take a look at this one we’ve found and make a quick fix.

It turns out that going prone and then using the ultra-fun SUAV unlock is a very bad idea. About 70% of the time we used the plane whilst in a prone state, we came back to our character looking like the image you see below.

You can’t move anywhere, you can’t see anyone and the only view you have is the sweet blue sky. You can still fire your gun but you can’t hear anything whilst doing so. Here is our screenshot showing the exact view you get once this BF4 glitch occurs.

Fortunately, there are two ways around it which don’t involve reseting your system. You can take option A which is to kill yourself and lose some of your score, or you can make sure that you are not prone before using the SUAV.

Ideally though you want to be in a prone position though as you are completely left open when using the SUAV. Just a heads-up to those who are trying to get the SUAV unlock and those who are planning to use it soon.

Otherwise we have no other issues with the game, Battlefield 4 still is one of the best experiences to be had on console and PC – period. Let us know if you have experienced the same glitch when playing online.
