This deal will be especially beneficial to new PS4 owners who want to download the older COD titles at a preferential price. The US PlayStation Store is being updated today, with the sale being introduced as a bonus to celebrate the upgrade. This COD discounts will last for a week, afterwards the digital games will all return to their previous prices. CVG reports that Towerfall Ascension, Ethan: Meteor Hunter and Vessel have also been included into the promotion besides the Call of Duty games.

There are savings to be made across the board here for players who want to download previous Call of Duty games for a cheaper digital price. It does not look like Ghosts has been included in this promotion but it may well be added at a later date. This sale has come conveniently just before Titanfall’s big launch, are Sony looking to distract a few would be players with cheaper COD content?
