Ubisoft has five unannounced projects lined up

By Updated on

According to Ubisoft game designer and managing director Jade Raymond there are currently five projects in development at the Toronto-based company, of which two titles are being co-developed with other studios. We assume this means other Ubisoft studios, although we are not totally sure.

Raymond appeared at this year’s SXSW expo in Texas and this gave her a chance to give us some snippets of information regarding the Toronto-based studio. She was not shy in letting on that five projects are currently underway and say’s “at the moment, there are definitely a lot of plates spinning,” However, she also mentions that none of these have been announced yet.

In addition, Raymond has also spoke out about Ubisoft’s intentions to take their popular game franchises and branch out into other forms of media like comic books and games. In the meantime, Raymond has also expressed an interest in creating new franchises, which could be specific to mobile platforms, not just ports.

It seems Ubisoft are aware that good games on consoles are different to those on mobile devices, and a full report can be seen on The Star. So, with Ubisoft looking to make more games on such platforms as the PC, laptop, tablet and smartphones we are intrigued to know whether you would like to see a specific console title on any of these devices?

When it comes to the five unannounced projects in the works, are you expecting one of these to be yet another Assassins Creed title?
