It’s not long now until Titanfall releases on the PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, and as we contemplate another FPS the newly developed game by Respawn Entertainment was officially announced as the firm’s debut title at last year’s E3 press conference. In the meantime, gamers hoping to obtain a Titan fall themed Xbox One bundle will be upset to hear that these consoles appear to have been canned, for the public at least.
While it seems this product is no longer expected to go on sale, the console design is real and is reserved for Respawn Entertainment employees. This follows news of the cancellation of Titanfall pre-orders in South Africa, which is down to unsatisfactory local server tests.

With images of the console surfacing through twitter we are envious that these machines have been limited to Respawn staff, but an article on The Verge gives us hope that this could become available to the gaming community in the future.
The limited edition Titanfall Xbox One controller and console could have been a great way to further increase the install base and although we are excited about the upcoming game, we feel gamers would have appreciated the option to acquire one of these. In addition, Microsoft has another bundle on offer for $499.99 which includes the game, and those wondering when the rare white Xbox One version will appear, reports suggest this could be released to the general public late this year.
In other relative news, we recently spoke about the revealed Titanfall DLC model that grants choice. We mentioned how the free and paid for content will arrive after the game’s release with a season pass available for all content drops.
There will be no micro-transactions with Titanfall as paid for content can be bought or downloaded free depending on whether you have acquired a season pass, although Respawn will also be offering free updates. With Titanfall scheduled for release on the 11th March, we are interested to know whether you will be signing up for the season pass or will you seeing what free content is available first?
Alternatively, are you hoping to see a Titanfall themed Xbox One release to the public sometime in the future?
