The Titanfall DLC model has been revealed and it grants choice to players, with free and paid for content coming once the game has launched. Respawn Entertainment announced DLC drops for Titanfall a while back, even though the game is still yet to release.
Respawn founder Vince Zampella has been shedding light on how the DLC system will work, first of all stating that a season pass will be available to give players a great deal. The season pass will be beneficial to players planning to download all content drops, benefiting from savings and bonuses if they buy it all up front first. You can watch the full interview with Zampella on Game Spot.
Titanfall will not be taking part in micro-transactions, paid for content can be either bought or downloaded for free after you have purchased your season pass. Respawn has also decided to take a generous approach by offering content updates for free. These drops will mainly deliver features that the developers wanted in the game, but were not shipped in the final version of Titanfall such as private matches.
Are you pleased that Respawn will offer paid for and free content for Titanfall, will you be buying the season pass?
