Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is being desired on PC by many gamers and also the series’ creator. The Phantom Pain will come after Ground Zeroes which launches later this month and Hideo Kojima the MGS director has stated his intention to expand the game’s platform release.
The Phantom Pain will be released on the PS4 and Xbox One plus the last gen consoles in the future, no PC release has been indicated so far. That was until now however as Kojima feels that he owes PC gamers a release as that is his original background. The MGS creator has said that the platform will always have a special place in his heart, as it is the place where he started his career.
In an interview with Gamespot, Kojima confessed that he could not make a formal announcement, but bringing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to PC is something he would definitely want to do. Whether he will have a big influence on whether this desire becomes a reality is not certain, there are bound to be some complications involved.
Ground Zeroes which is acting as the prologue to The Phantom Pain is set to arrive on March 18th worldwide and feature on the same platforms. The lack of PC inclusion for these next gen Metal Gear Solid games will disappoint some players, so they will be hoping Kojima will stay true to his word. The MGS creator has said he can’t make any promises on the subject but implied there is a chance it could happen.
