A little while back we were teased with a great Dark Souls 2 trailer and discovered when the game would arrive on Xbox 360 and PS3. We now have the Dark Souls PC release date, with the game looking like arriving towards the end of next month.
According to reports from CVG a promotion for the collector’s edition of Dark Souls 2 has been released, stating that the game will be released for PC and Steam on April 25th. This follows on shortly from the arrival of the console versions which are being released on March 11th in the US and 14th in Europe.
You can currently pre-order Dark Souls 2, so far reservations for the game have been double that of the original when it first released. Publisher Bandai Namco is still yet to officially reveal that April 25th is the nailed on release date, but this promotion for the collector’s edition of the game is an almost certain confirmation of the date.
The epic role playing game will also been released in an exclusive collector’s edition, featuring additional bonuses such as the ‘Black Armor Weapon Set DLC’, an authentic cloth game map, an official t-shirt and a collectible art book. We are waiting on pricing details for both the regular and collector’s version of Dark Souls 2 and will bring you those when they are official.
Will you be buying Dark Souls 2 on console or PC?
