Attention all PS4 owners now, as we have some great news for those who are still playing Outlast. The survival horror title was free on PS4 as part of the PS Plus February update, but now we have confirmation that the first Outlast DLC release date will arrive in April.
Outlast is easily one of the best games available on PS4 right now and one of the best horror titles to release in recent years. The game is also on PC of course, and now we have word that the first DLC content will be called Outlast Whistleblower.
The developers at Red Barrels have confirmed that the content will be out sometime in April, but unfortunately we don’t have a solid release date to give you yet, or an Outlast Whistleblower price.
What we can tell you though is that Whistleblower will act as a prequel to events from the original game. It will feature Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract with Murkoff and will set the scene for how he came into contact with current protagonist Miles Upshur.
Since we are missing key details, we are guessing that more information will be coming in March. We would like to obviously know how much this is going to cost and perhaps more importantly – how big in size Whistleblower is going to be compared to the main game.
Are you interested in paying for this? Let us know if you have been surprised by the success of Outlast.
