The big gaming news in the last day or 2 has been the Xbox One price cut that has reduced the cost down to £399. Retailer Gamestop has cut the price of the Xbox One Titanfall bundle down even further, creating an extra £30 saving which will delight consumers even more.
Gamestop was the first retailer to slash the price of the PS4 by £20, it was expected they would do likewise with the Xbox One. The UK store has reduced the price of the Xbox One Titanfall bundle to £369.97 and made it available to pre-order. The shipping date will coincide with the launch of Titanfall on March 14th, this discount will ensure stock is limited so order yours quickly.
Microsoft yesterday announced their price drop, in addition to including Titanfall, Kinect camera, an Xbox One headset, one wireless controller and a 30-day trial of Xbox Live. Unfortunately the price cut hopes for the US have been dashed, with Microsoft announcing they have no other price announcements for other countries planned.
It looks like this is an exclusive deal for the UK, although the PS4 is still the cheaper console even with the new discounted price. This big price cut from Microsoft is clearly a way of trying to boost their Titanfall launch even further next month, in an attempt to make up some ground on Sony’s games machine. The PS4 launched in Japan over the weekend which will make it even stronger, lets see if the Xbox One can recover.
Will you be taking advantage of these price cuts and be buying the Xbox One Titanfall bundle at a discount?
