Naughty Dog are famous for their cut scenes or cinematics as some people may call them, with their most recent The Last of Us a fine example of this. The cut scenes in the game make it feel more of a movie than a game and that could be just what to expect with Watch Dogs.
The reason we say this is because some news has recently been unearthed that talks about the amount of cinematics in Watch Dogs, as director Kun Chang says that there are 110 minutes in all. Cinematics within a game has the ability to give you so much more from a game, although not every gamer feels the same way.
Playing a game non-stop can get frustrating at times, and so stopping to watch a cut-scene can often be a welcome break. The thing is, if Watch Dogs has a gameplay time of around 40 to 50 hours, then surely 2 hours of cinematics is not that much?
We know that it is debatable if this is the right balance of cinematics, but with the amount of awards won by The Last of Us, if Ubisoft are on the money with the story, then they could be onto a winner.
In other Watch Dogs news it seems that the Xbox One version will be a lot like many other games on the platform and will not be able to deliver 1080p like the PS4 version. Instead, Gamepur reports that Watch Dogs for the Xbox One will be just 900p, which is yet more heartache for owners of Microsoft’s latest games console.
Do you believe this is a cause for concern and how long will it be before all Xbox One games will be able to run at 1080p?
One thing we do know, with Watch Dogs taking so long to be released, this has given gamers enough time to get far in GTA V and so will give them the perfect opportunity to put the game down once Watch Dogs is released.
