A new COD Ghosts PC update was reportedly made live over the weekend, with some players commenting that it could be the best one yet. This update supposedly brought a significant improvement which is a field of view changer, a feature that has been in high demand from the COD community.
The FOV update is one of a number of features of the update which also brings patches, the full notes are yet to be disclosed though. According to Charlie Intel, the max FOV setting is 80 and the Ghosts update weighs in at about 453.5 MB in size.
An early user to the thread commented that the patch was the best yet, as it increase the smoothness of the game. Several other players have however said they have not noticed an improvement in this regard. The gamer then continued by highlighting the world of difference that the FOV changer has made, whilst praising the matchmaker servers for being PC dedicated.
A number of forum contributors have complained about the FOV changer only going up to 80, a factor Infinity Ward may but to consider this for future updates. Many players also slammed Ghosts and in particular the new Infinity Ward developers, for causing the drop in quality compared to previous games like Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2.
