The release date for the upcoming Zombie Studios’ horror game Daylight was recently revealed during an IGN video walkthrough by studio director Jarred Gerritzen. The game destined for both the PS4 and Windows PC and will be here within a couple of months and we are eager to find out more about another instalment in the zombie gaming genre.
Daylight is expected to release this April and Polygon documents how the date was leaked during a video walkthrough, while the initial date was vaguely mentioned as early 2014. The game involves players using a smartphone which is low on juice and everything including the compass and the flashlight has its uses as players try to navigate through the hostile environment.
According to the developer Daylight is a procedurally generated horror game supporting the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, and the aforementioned website managed to get a hands-on experience with both the game and an Oculus Rift dev kit. They discuss how their experience found this to be a relatively slower paced title than expected, while the VR headset works well with the minimal combat.
We hope to find out more about this slower paced zombie game in the coming weeks, so are you glad to see Daylight coming to the PS4 and PC this April?
