We finally have the news that Sprint Galaxy S4 owners have been waiting for. It has been a long wait, but it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 Kitkat update is about to go live at any moment.

Information has been uncovered suggesting that the official rollout will happen on Thursday February 13. This is an official OTA update to Android 4.4 Kitkat for the Sprint model and will be identified with the firmware build number of L720VPUFNAE.

A document confirming this information has been obtained and shared by the guys over at Android Central. We’ve included the image below for you to take a look at yourself.

As always, the update will not reach all Sprint Galaxy S4 owners at once. Rollouts will occur at a gradual pace but once the first updates go live, you should try to head to your device settings and push the update manually if you want to speed up the process.

As far as we’re aware, it is not live at the moment, but it could happen at any point from now. If you are a Sprint Galaxy S4 customer, let us know if you have received the update in your area or not.

Is it a good time to be a Sprint customer, compared to other networks in the US?
